In May 2021, Fractal, a company specializing in artificial intelligence and analytics, suffered a data breach. This incident involved the unauthorized access to an exposed server containing data allegedly linked to their Customer Genomics sector. As a result, sensitive information including company details, email addresses, first and last names, phone numbers, usernames, and hashed passwords were compromised, affecting over 12.2 million users.
